Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made on Tale Night (talenight.com). It applies to both our Premium subscriptions and our one-time "Make Your Story" custom story purchases. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy together with our Terms and Conditions.

All payments are processed securely by our authorized payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for your transaction. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Premium Subscriptions

  • Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
  • Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods once a billing period has started.
  • Accidental or duplicate charges: If you were charged in error or charged twice, contact us within 14 days and we will issue a full refund of the erroneous charge.

Custom Stories ("Make Your Story")

  • Before generation begins: You may request a full refund if you cancel before your custom story has started generating.
  • After generation: Because custom stories are personalized digital products created specifically for you, they are generally non-refundable once generated. Each purchase includes up to 3 free text regenerations if you are not satisfied with the initial result.
  • Technical issues: If a technical problem prevents your story from being delivered, we will either resolve the issue or provide a full refund.
  • Quality concerns: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your story, contact us — we may offer regenerations or a partial credit at our discretion.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us with your account email and the order or transaction ID:

We aim to review all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence, including any statutory right of withdrawal for digital purchases.
